I am truly passionate about helping people be empowered to take their health into their own hands! Having personally navigated my own chronic illness, I’m thankful for the opportunity to now guide others in their own path to better health. Likewise, I’m immensely grateful for the opportunity to be part of the SAFM team and to see people become empowered by their knowledge and learning experience here. Functional Medicine changed my life and I can only hope that I am able to share the wonders of what I was gifted with, an incredible tribe of like-minded practitioners!
When my son began experiencing health issues that seemed unresolvable, I turned to Functional Medicine. Seemingly miraculously, my son got better. The experience ignited in me a passion to understand how this had been possible and a deep desire to get this information into the hands of others. I feel truly blessed to be a Health Coach and to have found the SAFM family. These opportunities are allowing me to play a part in the change I so desperately want to see in the world. I am truly honored to be a part of the SAFM team since this work is something that I believe in with every cell of my being.
I’m thrilled to be part of the SAFM team and supporting students excited to shift the paradigm of medicine! After years working as RN/NP, it was clear that the traditional “wait for a diagnosis and treat with medicine” system was a suboptimal solution that left patients feeling “crazy”, frustrated, and less than truly well. Functional medicine empowers us to find the “why and where” of disease and symptoms and reverse them! It’s my honor to teach, inspire and motivate the masses who are ready to stop waiting to heal.
I love sharing functional medicine with others and I’m particularly fascinated by the role of the GI tract in downstream dysfunction and imbalance. I am also very passionate about empowering clients and coaches to prioritize self-care and the mind-body connection. I found SAFM after searching for more education and tools to incorporate functional medicine into my personal practice. I love facilitating huddles, educating, listening, learning, sharing my experiences, and coaching other coaches.
