Adrenal and Thyroid: Pearls You Need to Know

Hi!

I am so excited to share this webinar and THESE POWERFUL IDEAS with you.

No matter what they do, your clients struggle with low energy, perhaps weight gain, fatigue, feeling cold, and maybe elevated LDL cholesterol? They are likely among the millions who suffer from poor thyroid function, usually in partnership with adrenal gland dysfunction. Learn more about these two powerful glands, the primary controllers of our metabolism and stress response.

Learn why those who are diagnosed still suffer while taking typical thyroid medications. Learn what key nutrients can give them revolutionary results. What foods can aggravate a hypothyroid patient. What supplements can cause problems. And for many folks without a diagnosis, why that “normal” thyroid test is not telling your client the truth about their body. In this Deep Dive Clinical Course, I will help you to feel confident advising your clients on what tests to ask their doctor to complete instead.

Please do share below what most resonated with you in this video – I am very interested in what you think.

Thanks very much for joining in the fun and learning! With warmth, love, and gratitude to you for sharing your gifts with so many –

Thanks for the great webinar! It made me think about how low cortisol affects the thyroid and adrenalin and noradrenalin spikes can cause panic attacks in a person with low cortisol levels. Fascinating!

Thank you, Tracy. I always love listening to you. I missed some of it so I am looking forward to the replay. As someone who suffers from Hashimoto’s, I know it is such an intricate balance of thyroid and adrenal health. I am always looking to learn more and hopefully find that missing link to the puzzle not only for myself but for future clients. I appreciate all you do.

I appreciated the discussion regarding continued hypothyroid symptoms, despite thyroid hormone labs that look ideal, potentially stemming from aberrant cortisol levels and/or surplus estrogen.

Such an interesting intro to the adrenal and trheyroid deep dive course! I was particularly interested to learn about the drivers behind poor conversion of T4 to T3 and the role of reverse T3 in blocking T3 uptake. This really drives home the importance of getting a full thyroid panel . Thank you so much!

I learned about reverse T3 and you said to do a full thyroid panel. How do you see the reverse T3 on the panel?

thank you for this fb session – i wasn’t aware of the fact that if thyroid issue is not addressed that a second autoimmune dysfunction can occur in the body within 5 years.

Wow! So much great info today! I knew the adrenals affected the thyroid, but you made it clearer what that pathway is. I didn’t know inflammatory cytokines impair T4/T3 conversion–good to know. And the dosing for selenium is very helpful. Thanks so much for all the fabulous material!

One of the things I received from this webinar is that estrogen dominance and inflammation can increase TBG that will affect the utilization of free T3. Also that every cell in the body needs adrenal and thyroid hormone to function optimally. Thanks

Thanks you! I really appreciated learning about the interrelationship between T3 and T4. Tons of fantastic information!

Wonderful information, especially for someone new to functional medicine. Good pearl about thin, post-menopausal woman having issues with thyroid hormones secondary to decreased estrogen.

Tracy, thank you so much for sharing your wisdom! The nugget that I particularly needed to hear today was the link between estrogen dominance and thyroid function. Also, the impact of low estrogen. Good stuff!

So much amazing information, thank you!!

The webinar was awesome. Lot of great information. I had not realized that adrenals were given a bad “rap” and have been told many times, I have adrenal fatigue. I will rethink that one now. Thanks for your time and the great information.

I knew whole health was the answer to thyroid health but honestly had no idea how the adrenals came into play. This absolutely fascinates me! I cannot wait to lean more!! Thank you!

Hi,
I am really enjoying the webinar! Learning about T3 and reverse T3, and how they work with T4 was really helpful for me.

I would also like to ask a question about the effect of the ketogenic diet on the adrenals. I’ve had extreme fatigue when I was on the ketogenic diet/GAPS diet, and wondered if you had any thoughts on what was going on.

Thanks,
Heidi

Hi Tracy!

Thanks for today’s Facebook live stream. I have been a Health Coach since 2007 from IIN. Just finding you through a recent 4-part webinar series. OMG totally got so much out of it!!! I have a couple of questions from today’s live stream. Can unprotected digital dental ex-rays cause thyroid issues like hypothyroidism? Is their such a thing as adrenal fatigue? What’s really going on?

I’ve learned so much here about the thyroid and how labs might look great. I haven’t been educating clients on thyroid because of my lack of knowledge but want to change this. Thyroid health is so key!

You covered so much and in such complete details along with so many pearls of wisdom here especially to cast a broader net when working with clients. I have a lot to learn…Thank you so much!!!

Lots of great info – such as how you need just the right amount of estrogen for healthy thyroid function (too much and too little is problematic).

Hi, thank you. Over half of hypothyroidism is autoimmune – and some say it is even more like 2/3 or 80%.

Hello! Thank you so much for this very rich live video! I’m learning quite a bit. I finally understand what reverse T3 is and its relationship to high cortisol. High cortisol levels can affect thyroid hormone by making T4 convert to reverse T3. Also, I didn’t know what makes up thryroid hormone T4 , now I know it’s tyrosine and 4 iodine markers. Helps to know when I’ll be explaining this to clients.

Charlotte Neuschafer

I learned how much cortisol impacts the thyroid and metabolism and reasons for poor T3 to T4 conversions: insufficient stomach acid, inflammation, toxins, stress, and food sensitivities.
