Adrenal and Thyroid: Pearls You Need to Know

Hi!

I am so excited to share this webinar and THESE POWERFUL IDEAS with you.

No matter what they do, your clients struggle with low energy, perhaps weight gain, fatigue, feeling cold, and maybe elevated LDL cholesterol? They are likely among the millions who suffer from poor thyroid function, usually in partnership with adrenal gland dysfunction. Learn more about these two powerful glands, the primary controllers of our metabolism and stress response.

Learn why those who are diagnosed still suffer while taking typical thyroid medications. Learn what key nutrients can give them revolutionary results. What foods can aggravate a hypothyroid patient. What supplements can cause problems. And for many folks without a diagnosis, why that “normal” thyroid test is not telling your client the truth about their body. In this Deep Dive Clinical Course, I will help you to feel confident advising your clients on what tests to ask their doctor to complete instead.

Please do share below what most resonated with you in this video – I am very interested in what you think.

Thanks very much for joining in the fun and learning! With warmth, love, and gratitude to you for sharing your gifts with so many –

Thanks Tracy
I enjoy the talk on thyroid and the connection with the adrenals and sex hormones and how important supplements are. You are a fountain of information.

I requested a full thyroid panel but my doctor said that my insurance will no longer pay for reverse T3??? Great information!!

Thanks for another great video. I really appreciated the great breakdown of T3, T4, etc. I always love how thoroughly you explain things.

I really enjoyed the beginning conversation noting that TSH is not a thyroid hormone,
that it’s actually produced in the pituitary gland and if you had to choose just one test, it would be Free T3! Thank you for this timely information.

I appreciate that throughout your talk you highlighted the need to stick with the basics and to find and respect the Goldilocks rule in each individual patient. Finding the sweet spot and not overlooking the simple things that can make a big difference in patient’s lives are my favorite adventures when helping patients work on rebuilding their health. I also appreciate the statement, “if the patient can’t afford the test or doesn’t have access to it, then we’re just having fun”. Finally, someone who’s really in the trenches trying to help people not just help the ones who can afford the whole cow…..

Love being refreshed on the hormones! Such a vital part of many issues.

One important pearl is that doing a full thyroid panel is important, including reverse T3

Great information and I have to say I love how you said what’s going on in the gut would make a good sci-fi movie. All of a sudden I’m visualizing the whole thing.

Grateful for all the amazing information you shared! Intriguing to learn about the intertwining of estrogen and thyroid

Hi Tracy! So much great information as always! The “Pearls” can’t rely on TSH as it’s a brain Hormone
not a thyroid Hormone. Normal range does it mean healthy. Over 1/2 of Hypothyroidism is autoimmune!

I’ve been certified in thyroid, yet it’s connection with the adrenals and sex hormones — I have pretty vague knowledge and you’ve already distilled it down so much, thank you! This is the population I work with and I’ve known estrogen dominance was an issue but now I see how interconnected estrogen and thyroid receptors are. So, the whole adrenal side is fascinating to me and I can’t wait to learn more! Also, finally, a great explanation for increased RT3–cortisol OR adrenaline and epinephrine. Finally, I just recently heard the extension of HPATG ( as opposed to HPA) and I so appreciate that! One more thing, why I love functional medicine, when you said we need to “honor the experience” of our clients. People are more than their numbers. ❤️

Thank you so much for this wonderful training!!! It was extremely informative and now I can’t wait to dive deeper into the connection between the adrenals and thyroid. It is so true that we as practitioners can be tempted to stop at the surface level and blame the tyroid for imbalances when we need to take it a step further and look into the root cause that may start in the adrenals. Thanks again for sharing! I truly appreciate your passion for making fellow practitioners even more effective at helping others heal!

Great information. Thanks for having available later in day. Learned so much about T4 and T3, what can affect the transition from T4 to T3 and so much more.
Massive symptom improvement as a goal vs masking, support the entire system if we want the body to function optimally.

Thank you for this excellent webinar. Some of the pearls that I took away are the relationship between estrogen and thyroid function, the importantance of finding a client’s hormonal sweet spot, the importance of minerals in thyroid function and the importance of obtaining a complete thyroid panel. Thanks very much!

This was amazing! I feel like next time I look at numbers on a blood test they will mean a whole lot more.

Not here to win a free seat, just LOVE refreshing my functional medicine knowledge with Tracy! As she says repetition builds retention. So much great info here in this video. Thanks for sharing all you do Tracy. Good luck everyone. Each class is filled with so many resources, chances to get your questions answered, info and materials you can use right away and you get to listen over and over again because they are recorded! The original course is fantastic, so this new and improved one will rock!

Hi Tracy,

Thank you so much for the amazing webinar, as usual. A pearl I took home today was the interconnectedness of estrogen dominance and thyroid function. This webinar cleared up a lot of information for me and I am really hoping to take the full deep dive course whether I win the drawing or not.

Thank you again for all of the information and education you put out. I am loving the semester 101 course.

Thank you for such great information. I did not know that we have so many thyroid receptors in our brain. WOW, very fascinating. I want to know more on how to properly guide my clients with their thyroid and adrenal issues.

Oh my, the more I learn, the more I realize I NEED to learn! I have been an RD for 25 years and a graduate of IIN for a few years and my coaching practice is focused on weight loss. Nothing in my years of studies has enlightened me as much as your information and it makes me hungry for more. I know I can be helping more clients at a deeper level, taking the focus off caloric restriction but instead on the overall function of the body and getting to root causes.
