I started taking Epsom baths myself but I love encouraging movement through dancing, doing what you would do anyway! And diluting that drink a little bit at a time – one of those habits that are so difficult to change. What I do – I teach them to just rememer that throughout the day we have many opportunities to bake a better choice, not the perfect choice. And don’t let one poor choice throw you off course – the next time is another opportunity for a better choice.

Love the tip around the cauliflower rice from Trader Joe’s.
I’ve told busy moms who “don’t have time to meditate” that if they have time to use the bathroom, they can take two minutes to do a mini meditation every time they use the bathroom (or five deep breaths). Even if it’s from a public bathroom stall…!

I love all of your suggestions about making it easier for adjustments or changes to their health. I tell clients and prospective clients to make small changes to their lifestyle rather than just offering supplements all the time. I steam my frozen or fresh vegetables in my microwave of the time too. It has a steamer option.

I love the Epsom salts bath as source of magnesium

This was a REALLY good one! So many helpful ideas to Not make things sooo clinical all the time. Good ideas for me to implement and creative ones to introduce to patients.
I really liked the Miyoko & epsom salt bath suggestion.
Also…No healing takes place with powering through.

Ask your client what small step along the journey feels good to them!!! Yes wellness feels awesome and they must believe that so starting the conversation framed so positively not only empowers them because THEY are choosing themselves but already you’ve planted the expectation it will FEEL good! Brilliant as alway! So love your pearls. May I take this moment to say how grateful I am for your content, wisdom and generosity in sharing information and resources. YOU are certainly a team player and in the playbook of so many people who you teach and then all those you they teach! Happy Thanksgiving, Happy Holidays and blessings to you!

Bless Tracy for telling us not to try to impress with our “perfect health” and be more accessible! It will help me!!

I loved the simple reminder on asking the patient: What step to create a healthier xxx feels good for you? Because if what I say doesn’t resonate with them – it won’t matter. It needs to be something special in their life like the ritual of having a glass of wine with their spouse; just make it a little healthier with what works for them.

Oh yes I love this! Start where the patient is at! It takes creativity and your ideas are
So helpful. I have several patients with a coke/Pepsi addiction and would love some tips
On how to help them with this. Obesity is a huge issue! Thanks for all you do!

I loved the low key and small step changes we can help our clients to make, rather than big and difficult to sustain ones. Dancing while cleaning! I love dancing while washing up too!

I love helping my clients to add a little healthy change to their daily ritual, so that it will sustain. Like a little deep belly breathing session before a meal to enhance eating hygiene. Thanks so much for sharing, Tracy!
