Getting a Steady Flow of New Clients

This deep cut from my video archives was originally aimed at helping the Health Coaches among us, but it is very useful information for all practitioners, especially those who are branching out in entrepreneurial practice. I offer some valuable insights into how I personally grew my own practice and how you can grow your practices as well.

This is part 1 of a three video series where I share some fantastically simple and powerful pearls for building a wildly successful practice from the ground up.  Don’t miss these tips on getting a solid, initial flow of clients.  This is guidance that our students have been using successfully for well over a decade.  For many types of practitioners.  Here is a handout that breaks out the key steps I cover in the video.  (Seriously, there is a lot of key data in the handout, so don’t miss it.)

Many practitioners just starting out on their own struggle with getting started at a consistent pace – that is, maintaining a baseline load of  clients consistently.  You need some momentum!  And this video tells you one powerful way to create it.  Some of you already have thriving practices, well loaded with clients on an ongoing basis.  However, you might be working way too hard to keep them coming in the door – and losing too much joy worrying about when the flow might suddenly dry up!  This video shares a process that will help ensure new clients keep showing up, looking for YOU – and your expertise.

    I usually have an initial call (free) to see if we are a good fit and then they become paying clients when they sign up for my program. Once they pay, then i will send them a thorough health history & the symptom questionnaire to complete.. is this a good process?

      You’re the best judge if this process is working for you, and it sounds like it is. There is no one best way to run a practice and being self-employed allows much room for experimentation and developing a process that’s best for YOU as a practitioner.

    Thank you Tracy, I learned that charging for the Health History is probably a good idea and that getting out into the community is a valuable way to find clients, especially by offering to do presentations. Having an online presence is not as important as one may assume, but regular contact via your potential client list is imperative. Much appreciated
