Hi, I’m Tracy.
As the Founder and Principal Educator at SAFM, I am passionate about empowering health care practitioners to activate the regression of disease, rather than just treat or manage it. That passion stems from a very personal journey that began nearly 15 years ago. In the space of 2 months, my handsome, healthy, hard-working husband went from living a normal life, to having acute tremor and seizures. It was a frightening yet enlightening time.
Mainstream care’s repeated, singular solution was a cocktail of medicating drugs (with no thought of getting to the root of the problem). These could prevent seizures, a blessing, for sure, but with a dramatic loss of quality of life. I knew there was a better way. So I took matters into my own hands. I dove head first into dozens and dozens of hours of research - fueled by my fury, my anxiety, and my love.
To make a long story short, we discovered and addressed the disease dynamics and root causes at play in his unique case. One by one. Today, my husband is a healthy, vibrant, and thriving individual with no residual issues. He is well. And staying well!
Thus my mission is not only spreading the word of what’s possible using the power of the functional medicine lens. That's not enough. I've had the opportunity to support over a thousand clients since then. But the need is great and global and escalating. My passion is to empower health care practitioners to have the capability and confidence to Do This Work. To help people like my husband. From every walk of life. Will this course include a deep dive on comprehensive stool testing and interpretation?
No. This topic is available as optional curriculum content for practitioners who enroll in SAFM's comprehensive training and certification program. This course does include, however, a rich overview of often overlooked gut functional imbalances that directly contribute to concerning stool test results (and their recurrence).
Are there payment plans available?

Is a refund available if I'm not satisfied with the course?
No. Given that much of the course material is available immediately upon purchase and that participants can complete the training as quickly as they choose, refunds are not available.
Are CMEs available for this course? How can I claim them?

If you meet program entry requirements as part of the SAFM application process, you have one year (i.e., two enrollment cycles) to apply the course fee you paid to the cost of program tuition. Will completion of this course make me eligible for SAFM's functional medicine training program?
No. While the course will, certainly, enhance each participant's foundational knowledge of functional medicine, each must still demonstrate that they meet the requirements of SAFM's application process in order to enroll in the full certification program.
Will this course count toward my curriculum requirements if I enroll in SAFM's training program?
