It is so true and especially in conventional health care that we ignore the real root causes of disease, diet, lifestyle, community, purpose. I try to instill the need for these in my clients and try to embody them myself. Baby steps is the best approach but any tips are always welcome.
Sugar stores as Saturated Fat… leading to heart disease.
Thank you for the FB live today! Appreciated the message that just treating symptoms and taking supplements without making health-supportive choices (sleep, promoting parasympathy) just does not work. Yes!!
Got on your FB Live! I like how you said the body follows mind and belief systems
and belief systems are hugely important. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for the FB live! Great, as ususal! The comment about clients jumping on Google and researching all of the things that can go wrong with us and having that majorly stress them out really resonated with me since I just had a client go through that this morning!
I loved the Facebook live today! For me the outstanding point( there were a lot really) but if I had to pick one it was that beliefs activate biochemical changes to produce changes in our body. The mind body connection is something that fascinates me and can’t wait to find more in my first course
So much information in these FB live events – thank you for sharing your knowledge with us! I learn something applicable every time I tune in! xo
I love your high level perspective of prioritizing foundational pieces like healthy eating, sleep, and stress management and not getting too lost in the weeds of the physiology, microbiology, etc.! Thanks for all you do – I’m excited to get started with SAFM in just a couple of weeks and would love to be entered in the drawing for the Deep Dive Clinical Course!
We must honor the body’s expectations if we want to heal.
Health repels disease. Self worth and self love. Fat closet. Pantry in the left butt cheek. Power of placebo belief systems. Celebrate the softer side of our lives! LOVE THESE SO MUCH FOR SELF and CLIENTS!
I like the idea that the body isn’t broken but rather trying to correct itself due to our poor choices.
Thank you for the FB Live. I would love to be entered into your drawing. I am an MS student at U Bridgeport hoping to do my CNS … already an LDN but back at school. The clinical piece is my weakness. Grateful, Kimberly Concra
Practitioner clarification questions are welcome! Please do not post personal case inquiries.
I appreciate the attention to the softer side. We have learned to address sleep but still continue to struggle with relaxing and slowing our lives down.
